حل المشكلات الزوجية لمسلمي كمبودية في ضوء القرآن والسنة: دراسة تحليلية

Abstract

This study aims to clarify solutions to marital issues among Cambodian Muslim couples according to the Quran and Sunnah, through a comprehensive analytical approach. It begins by examining key terms and concepts, including a brief overview of Islam in Cambodia, the concept of marriage, its legal ruling and underlying wisdom, the rights of the spouses, as well as the nature of marital conflicts and the legitimate objectives of marriage in the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah. This study further focuses on identifying the main causes of marital problems within Cambodian Muslim families. It adopts both inductive and analytical methodologies, drawing on classical and contemporary sources such as dictionaries, Quranic exegesis (tafsir), hadith literature, works of Islamic jurists, and other relevant academic writings. In addition, a statistical survey method was employed using questionnaires to support the findings. This thesis arrives at several significant conclusions, the most important of which include: the issue of lack of knowledge and religious awareness and how to improve them, weak tolerance and harmony between spouses and ways to improve them, intentional neglect of responsibilities and its solutions, lack of trust between spouses and how to resolve it, interference from in-laws and its remedies, domestic violence and how to address it, unjust treatment of wives in polygamous relations and how to regulate it, uncontrolled jealousy and how to manage it, economic difficulties and how to manage them, and finally, the issue of drug abuse and how to deal with it.
