Abstract

Teachers play a key role in the educational process; therefore, it is important to give them the necessary attention to ensure they effectively fulfil their pedagogical responsibilities. This study aims to examine the influence of life satisfaction on performance and job satisfaction, as well as to explore the effect of job satisfaction on job performance. Additionally, the study investigates job satisfaction as a moderating factor in the relationship between life satisfaction and job performance among secondary school teachers in Yemen. The researcher adopted a descriptive method, utilizing a survey that aligns with the nature and objectives of the study. A questionnaire was used as the primary data collection instrument and was administered to a random sample of (408) male and female secondary school teachers in Yemen during the 2023/2024 academic year. )SPSS( was used for descriptive analysis and to assess the validity and reliability of the instrument, followed by )AMOS( for Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to evaluate construct validity and reliability, and finally, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was conducted to analyze the relationships among variables. The results indicated that life satisfaction has a positive impact on both job performance and job satisfaction, and that job performance and job satisfaction are positively correlated. Furthermore, job satisfaction, as a moderating factor, influences the relationship between life satisfaction and job performance. Based on the study's findings, the researcher provided several recommendations for educational officials in Yemen. The most significant of these recommendations is the need to ensure adequate support and attention for teachers in government schools, in alignment with their critical role in societal development. Teachers play an essential role in shaping future generations. Recognizing their efforts through financial and moral incentives can significantly enhance their satisfaction and job performance.
