Abstract
The study aimed to identify the level and obstacles of parental involvement for students of the ninth and tenth grades of basic education in Al-Batinah North Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, investigate the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the study sample members about the level and obstacles of parental involvement for these students due to the study variables, and investigate the existence of a correlation between parental involvement and students' academic achievement. The study population consisted of ninth and tenth-grade students in government schools in Al-Batinah North Governorate and the study sample included (373) male and female students. The researcher used the descriptive-analytical approach as the study method and used the questionnaire as the study tool. The study concluded with many results including:

- There were no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the study sample members on the level and obstacles of parental involvement for students in Al-Batinah North Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman and the overall mean due to the father's level variable.
- There was a positive and statistically significant correlation between parental involvement in its four dimensions and the students' academic achievement.
