Abstract
This study attempts to showcase and analyse project performance indicators developed by ARROW for their current WHRAP II project. Areas addressed will be a) reason for creating indicators. b) what type of indicators are created, c) how they are implemented, d) results and uses of these indicators, and, e) possible modifications that might be needed. Unstructured interviews with program heads, financial controllers, and project representatives are undertaken to form an understanding of the indicators. The indicators which are determined in line with the objectives of the project are then explored and reviewed based on the literature available on project performance indicators to gain better understanding of them. Results and uses from case studies using these indicators will then be reviewed. The case studies considered for this study are from 3 areas where WHRAP II interventions were made in Bangladesh, namely Tangail, Palash and Shaghata. Follow-up and tracking of the utilization of these indicators in these areas and their outcome will be demonstrated. However, this study is not going to conduct a performance audit or carry out the information collection for the indicators. This study is solely concerned with the indicators used to assess the performance of this project.
