Abstract
This study aimed to study the strategic leadership and its relationship to school culture and its impact on the level of organizational conflict in the schools of post-basic education in the Governorate of North Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman from the point of view of teachers. To achieve the objective of the study, this study used the descriptive analytical method, and used a questionnaire to collect data from a sample of (277) male and female teachers at post-basic schools in the Governorate of North Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman. This study was divided into five chapters, the first chapter dealt with the problem of the study, its objectives, importance and the study model, the second chapter dealt with the literature of the study and previous studies, the third chapter dealt with the study’s methodology and procedures, the fourth chapter dealt with the analysis of the results of the study, and the fifth chapter dealt with a discussion of the results, and the study concluded with a conclusion, which included on conclusions and recommendations. This study reached a set of results, most notably: the high level of practice of post-basic school leaders in North Al Batinah Governorate in the dimensions of school leadership, as well as the high level of school culture in these schools, as well as the level of organizational conflict. The study also found a direct positive relationship between the application of strategic leadership and the level of organizational conflict in post-basic schools in the Sultanate of Oman from the point of view of teachers. And the existence of a direct positive relationship between the application of strategic leadership and the level of school culture in post-basic schools in the Sultanate of Oman from the point of view of teachers. And the existence of a direct positive relationship between the level of school culture and the level of organizational conflict in post-basic schools in the Sultanate of Oman from the point of view of teachers. And the presence of a mediating effect of school culture on the relationship between the application of strategic leadership and the level of organizational conflict in post-basic schools in the Sultanate of Oman from the point of view of teachers. This study recommended the necessity of enhancing the role and effectiveness of strategic leadership in post-basic schools in Oman, and working to reduce organizational conflict to a minimum, whether this conflict is (self, within the institution or between individuals). And the need for school administrations to spread the spirit of cooperation and integration among school workers instead of the spirit of conflict and competition. And the need for school administrations to establish a positive school culture in accordance with the school’s vision and mission, and the beliefs and traditions of school staff, so that it can face the organizational conflict within the school.
