بر الوالدين في القرآن الكريم : دراسة لأساليبه وصوره ونماذجه

Abstract

This research aims to study the importance of honoring parents (Birr Al-Wālidain) according to the verses of Qur’an al-Karīm, to enrich the literature in terms of understanding the value of parents through the lights of Quran and Sunnah. The significance of the study is to emphasize the da’wah (calling) that had been taught with the methods, styles and great examples from the life of Messengers by Allah in the Qur’an to teach His servants how to honor and value parents. The researcher used inductive and analytical method for the particular research and the data was collected from the Holy Qur’an and as well as from the well-known Quranic exegesis books. The explains the great importance of valuing parents as it was the second command that Allah swt mentioned in the Holy Book right after the Divine Command of worshipping Him. Its importance can be understood as it is one of the most mentioned commands for encouraging true believers to obey parents and warns them of the terrible punishment in the hereafter for those who disobey.
