dc.description.abstractThis study aimed at identifying the level of psychological well-being and mental health among members of the study sample, as well as identifying the relationship between psychological well-being, mental health, and academic achievement among members of the study sample, in addition to identifying the differences in levels of psychological well-being, mental health, and academic achievement according to the variables of (gender, marital status, age, academic level, academic major and grade point average), and knowing the extent of the contribution and influence of psychological well-being and mental health in predicting the level of academic achievement among students of vocational colleges in the Sultanate of Oman. To achieve the aims of the study, the sample was randomly chosen from the study community. The study sample consisted of (350) male and female, (128) of whom were males, and (222) were females The researcher has used the psychological well-being scale of Ryff, Arabization of Kharnoub (2016), and the mental health scale of Ahmed Abdul Khaliq (2013), The grade point averages were also relied on for students of the study sample. The researcher has used in the study data processing descriptive statistics methods, (T-test), ANOVA test for analysing the mono-variance and Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis tests. The study reached a set of results, namely that the level of psychological well-being came with an average degree among members of the study sample in the psychological well-being scale, where the average was (4.59). As for the level of mental health, it came with a high degree among members of the study sample as the arithmetic average for mental health as a whole reached (3.67). The presence of statistically significant differences in the level of psychological well-being is attributed to the gender variable and in favour of females in the dimension of (positive relationships with others), and the absence of statistically significant differences in the variables of the marital status, age or academic major and the presence of differences in the level of psychological well-being are attributed to the variable of the academic level and in favour of the third academic level, as well as statistically significant differences in the grade point average variable and in favour of the excellent The absence of differences in the level of mental health among students of government vocational colleges in the Sultanate of Oman is due to the variables of gender, marital status, age group, and academic major, while there are statistically significant differences in the level of mental health due to the variable of academic level in favour of the third level, as well as the presence of statistically significant differences due to the variable of grade point average and in favour of the excellent The presence of statistically significant differences in the level of academic achievement is attributable to the variable of the academic level and in favour of the first academic level, while the absence of statistical differences in the level of academic achievement for students of vocational colleges in the Sultanate of Oman is due to the variables of gender, marital status, age group, and academic major. The study also found that there is a strong direct correlative relationship of statistical significance between psychological well-being, mental health, and academic achievement, as the increase in levels of psychological well-being and mental health is faced by an increase in the level of academic achievement among students of government vocational colleges in the Sultanate of Oman. Academic achievement can be predicted through the level of psychological well-being and mental health. The change in the level of psychological well-being and mental health explains (60%) of the change in the level of academic achievement among students of vocational colleges.en_US
dc.description.abstractarabicيهدف هذا البحث إلى تع رف مستوى الرفاهية النفسية، والصحة النفسية، وكشف العلاقة بين بينهما وبين التحصيل الأكاديمي لدى أفراد مجتمع البحث، وكذا تع رف مستويت الرفاهية النفسية والصحة النفسية والتحصيل الأكاديمي تبعا لمتغيرات النوع الاجتماعي، والحالة الاجتماعية، والعمر، والمستوى الدراسي، والتخصص الدراسي، والمعدل التراكمي، أ ويضًا تع رف تأثير الرفاهية النفسية والصحة النفسية في التنبؤ بمستوى التحصيل الأكاديمي، وقد اعتمد البحث المن هج الوصفي، وتألفت عين ته من ) 128 ( طالبًا و) 222 ( طالبة، واستخدم الباحث مقياس الرفاهية النفسية لرايف )تعريب خرنو ب، 2016 (، ومقياس الصحة النفسية لأحمد عبد الخالق ) 2013 (، والمعدلات ال تراكمية لعينة البحث، ولمعالجة البيانات استخدم أساليب الإحصاء الوصفي، والاختبا ر التائي، واختبار أنوفا، ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون، واختبار تحليل الانحدار الخطي المتعدد، وتوصلت النتائج إلى أن مستوى الرفاهية النفسية متوسط لدى أفراد العينة فقد بلغ ) 4.59 (، أ ون مستوى الصحة النفسية مرتفع فقد بلغ ) 3.67 (، وكشفت النتائج عن فروق في مستوى الرفاهية النفسية تعزى إلى متغير النوع الاجتماعي لصالح الإنا ث، وإلى متغير المستوى الدراسي لصالح المستوى الثالث، وإلى متغير المعدل التراكمي لصالح المعدل الممتاز، وفي حين لا فروق في مستوى الصحة النفسية تُعزى إلى متغيرات النوع والحالة الاجتماعية والعمر والتخصص؛ هناك فروق تعزى إلى متغير المستوى الدراسي لصالح المستوى الثالث، وإلى متغير المعدل التراكمي لصالح المعدل الممتاز، وفروق في مستوى التحصيل الأكاديمي تعزى إلى متغير المستوى الدراسي لصالح المستوى الأول، كما أن هنالك علاقة ارتباطية بين الرفاهية النفسية والصحة النفسية والتحصيل الأكاديمي، فالزيدة في الرفاهية النفسية والصحة النفسية تقابلها زيدة في مستوى التحصيل الأكاديمي، والتغير في مستوى الرفاهية النفسية والصحة النفسية يفسر ) 60 %( من التغير في مستوى التحصيل الأكاديمي لدى عينة البحث.en_US
