الرخص الشرعية ودورها في تيسير فريضة الحج :دراسة تقويمية لتجربة مؤسسة الحج في ماليزيا

Abstract

This study is based on the difficulties faced by Muslims during pilgrimage in Mecca. As such, it aims towards exemplifying the problems of legal concessions (rukhsah) that are allowed during pilgrimage as determined by the Pilgrimage Fund Board (Tabung Haji), Malaysia. These concessions are to ease the intricacies faced by Muslims, especially among Malaysians, in undergoing this holy ritual in Mecca. The concessions that would be the focal point of discussion are those derived from the pillars and conditions of pilgrimage such as spending a night at Mina, ‘hurling rites’ at the jamrah, tawwāf widā’, and other related practices. This study adopts an analytical, descriptive, and inductive approaches based on references related to the topic. It is concluded from this study that these concessions are allowed by the Pilgrimage Fund Board, Malaysia so as to alleviate the hardships or musyaqqah faced Malaysian Muslims throughout the duration of the hajj. Lastly, the author does hope that this article would provide solutions and ultimately becomes one of the references for all Muslims in Malaysia and around the globe with regards to the matters on legal concessions during hajj.
