Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the skills of Emotional Intelligence in the life of the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) by examining his biography according to scientific methodologies used by the researcher. In this study, the researcher attempts to answer the research questions. Then, he designs training modules to train students on the skills of emotional intelligence based on the theoretical findings of the study, which have resulted in formulating a new perspective of the concept of . emotional intelligence. The researcher has piloted the training program with a group of talented students as a targeted population in the study. The results confirm the effectiveness of the training program and its impact on the development of the skills of Emotional Intelligence in the students. Evidence is shown from the results of applying a scale developed by the researcher to measure the skills of Emotional Intelligence. The results and recommendations of the study confirm that the Prophet's biography is full of evidence and examples, from which the researcher has deduced new concepts and methods to deal with emotions and manage them systematically. These findings have enabled the researcher to formulate a new perspective of Emotional Intelligence. They reveal new dimensions not addressed by previous studies, research and theories related to emotional intelligence, including the expansion of empathy to include all human beings, whether near or far, friends or not, as well as the inclusion of environmental components, such as animals, inanimate objects, etc. It is clear to the researcher that the study of emotions and passions has not been examined in scientifically comparative research, taking into account the Prophet's biography and the concepts of emotional intelligence. The study recommends utilizing the skills of Emotional Intelligence, taking into consideration the biography of the Prophet, in the classroom through the curriculum and training programs to develop them in students in general and gifted students in particular.
