Abstract

This research aims at the sanctity of the blood of Muslims, covenants, and trustees in the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the actions and consent of the Companions: an applied study on Afghan society. The importance of the research appears in that it discusses the Qur’anic and Sunnah of the Prophet, the effects of the Companions, and the role that they can play in solving the problems of Afghan society through the life of the researcher in this kingdom. The researcher applied inductive and analytical approaches during his research by collecting the Quranic verses that indicate the importance of the sanctity of the blood of Muslims and covenants, referring to the interpretations related to those verses, and then collecting the hadiths of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the effects of the Companions, may God be pleased with them all, about the importance of the sanctity of the blood of Muslims, covenants and trustees, and explaining it from Hadith books, to reach solutions to the problem of shedding the blood of Muslims and covenants. Then, followed by clarifying the causes and damages of shedding the blood of Muslims, covenants and trustees in Afghanistan and clarifying the cases in which shedding the blood of a Muslim or covenants is permissible in the Sunnah of the Prophet in order to reach solutions to the problem of shedding the blood of Muslims and covenants, and how to apply it in Afghan society. The research also gets rid of a set of solutions and methods to treat the problem of bloodshed in Afghanistan. This is done by knowing the causes of shedding the blood of Muslims in the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah, namely: Satan’s whispers, envy, foolishness, and ignorance,, tyranny,, corruption and transgression,, and knowing the causes of shedding the blood of Muslims and covenants in Afghanistan, which are: tyranny and injustice of rulers, anti-Semitism towards rulers, ignorance of legal knowledge and lack of jurisprudence. in religion, racial, religious, and national prejudices, religious extremism or extremism. This study then clarifies the reasons for killing and bloodshed in the Afghan society, reforming the members of society and working in accordance with the texts of Shariah. Then the most important thing that can be implemented to solve the problem of bloodshed and killing in Afghanistan is retribution only; Because in Afghanistan, since the beginning of the killing and bloodshed, no strong Islamic government has ruled that it has dared to implement retaliation for the hundred percent against the killer, as God Almighty said: There is ˹security of˺ life for you in ˹the law of˺ retaliation, O people of reason, so that you may become mindful ˹of Allah˺ - al-Baqarah: verse 179.
