Publication The accessibility of bus terminal design(Gombak, Selangor : International Islamic University Malaysia, 2004) ;Siti Syamimi Bt. DarusanTerminals are end stations of one or more bus routes often used for any large station with facilities, such as waiting rooms, ticket offices, and so on. Bus terminal, on the other hand are off-street areas or buildings with stops point for several bus routes. The arrangement of the spaces provided at the terminal must also take into consideration, which will determine the accessibility of the bus terminal layout. "Accessibility should be coordinated not only by analysing and responding to the context of the site but coordination should exists between parking areas, curb ramps, paved areas, rest areas with adequate seatings, lighting signages, building entries, and interiors. Continuous accessibility is also needed between building and within building, between parking areas, corresponding destinations and native destinations." (Charles and Nicholas, 1998). There are some problems being identified, as an obstacle to make bus terminals accessible. There is no suitable measurement and scale provided for bus circulation and movement and no accessible facility for pedestrian especially for disabled person implemented in bus terminal design such as ramp, signage and hand railings. The existing guidelines provided by local authority and Public Transportation Department should be the reference in designing bus terminal. As a conclusion, to ensure the accessibility of bus terminals, it is not only the satisfaction of the users that matters but also the planning for circulation of the buses itself. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication A comparative study on the muslims` and christians` understanding of the meaning of `Allah` in Nigeria(Kuala Lumpur: International Islamic University Malaysia, 2015, 2015) ;Ja`e, Zakariyyah H. YakubThe aim of this study is to examine the Christian perspective on the concept of (Allah) in Nigeria, which contradicts the true understanding of the concept of (Allah) in Islam. It begins with a discussion on the concept of Allah according to the Christian scholars in Nigeria followed by the Muslim scholars in Nigeria. The research continues with the explanation on how the concept of (Allah) is presented in the Qur’Én, ×adith and the work of classical and contemporary Muslim scholars. The methodology applied in this study is textual analysis, using descriptive and analytical methods on numerous works on the subject. This study identifies that most of the current module used to understand the concept of Allah by Christian scholars is wrong. Finally, the study concludes that it is crucial for both Muslims and Christians to have a comprehensive knowledge about the concept of (Allah). The proper knowledge would guide them to understand the real God of the entire universe - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication A hybrid information system : NIT ( Network, Information & Telecommunication ) for petroleum companies(Gombak : International of Islamic University Malaysia, 2001, 2001) ;Azmil bin Ab. AzizThe thesis examines legal principles governing foundling or laqit in Islamic law and the law as applicable in Malaysia. As Islamic law is expected to contribute to the efficacy and adequacy of the law of foundling or abandoned child in Malaysia, the study, which is based on library research and informal interviews is divided into two parts. The thesis analyzes the foundling’s rights to custody, guardianship, maintenance, his status as a free man and religious status, his parentage and inheritance in Islamic law based on rules in the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, Athar of the Prophet’s Companions and various opinions of the Muslim jurists particularly the sunni schools of law. The study includes examination on such foundling’s rights under various child protection laws in Malaysia representing the modern law based on various statutes and decided cases. Examination extends to the law relating to adoption and fostering serves as the best means of protecting the abandoned child. Reference is made to the child law in Egypt and adoption and fostering in Australia whenever appropriate. The study evidently proves that, Islamic law has provided detailed rules relating to foundling. The law that emphasizes the obligation to save the foundling’s life ensures the protection of his rights. The study also reveals that the law of foundling or abandoned child in Malaysia which is governed by various statutes affecting children lead to difficulties in reference. The absence and ambiguity of certain provisions crucial to protect the foundling in the laws as well as provisions governing Muslim foundling specifically shows that there are lacuna and room for improvement. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
