    This study aims to analyse the novel (Omar Appears in Jerusalem) by Najib al-Kilani. It explores the Al-Kilani’s life and analyses his novel in terms of its artistic construction, themes of the novel and outstanding issues. The research also seeks to highlight the views of the critics about this novel. The study depends on inductive and analytical method to achieve the objectives. The researcher concludes that this novel has a high standing among the critics. The issues and the prominent ideas in this novel are the reflection of the writer about the expected condition of true Muslims that is missing in our time, also the questions and problems facing the Muslim world and how to deal with them. In terms of artistic construction of the novel, this novel included, the complete artistic elements. After looking at the technical elements, we found that the writer is committed to his writing because of two interesting elements; the form and the content of the novel.
