    This research aims to study the political rights of Muslim minority in Southern Thailand, and in the same time the research aims to study theoretically and practically problems or barriers of political rights for the Muslim minority in the south of Thailand in Thai constitution. The researcher adopted in the study the following two approaches: first, Inductive approach: by studying the Thai constitution, and other relevant texts, second, analytical approach: By describing the provisions of the Thai constitution and comparing them with Shari‘ah, analysing, criticising and discussing. The research tools to gather information about topics related to the thesis used by the researcher are interviews and questionnaires. The researcher arrived at the following conclusions: including, the Thai constitutions of 1997 and 2007 AD confirm the existence of political rights for all citizens without exception, therefore, the Thai constitution theoretically allows to the Muslim minority in the South to participate in their rights and political positions. In reality, there are a number of practical obstacles in the implementation of some political rights for the Muslim minority in the south of Thailand. And there are the Islamic legal solutions to the political problems the Muslim minority in the South of Thailand faces.
