Students found many learning resources from their teachers as well as peers and the Internet. This openness of learning resources requires new approach to adapt a way of delivering teaching that helps to achieve the learning objectives of the students. Therefore, learning management system (LMS) has become a necessity for all educational institutions especially in the higher education sector in Bangladesh. Except some private universities there is no use of LMS for teaching-learning in this country. However, for high learning motivation of students an LMS ‘Schoology’ has introduced in some departments and institutes of Dhaka University. The LMS is a tool which organizes the administrative tasks of a classroom in a single platform. Moreover, it supports teachers in delivering personalized instruction, grading, sharing e-resources and upload yearly events for students. Furthermore, discussions, web conferencing, group collaboration and peer review enable students to be more invested in learning. This study indicates that due to some manipulative and non-manipulative factors the uses varies by the students which influence their behavior. Moreover, it provides information in evaluating usages of LMS to explore the factors that impact students’ usage of the Schoology in University of Dhaka.
