This study examined the relationship between Qur’an memorization and psychological well-being of students at the Qasimul Ulum Maahad of Tahfiz Al-Qur’an in Gombak. It specifically identified the Qur’an memorization strategies used by the tahfiz students and their perceived level of psychological well-being. This study adopted a quantitative research method consisting of a survey using two 5-point Likert scales measuring students’ Qur’an memorization and psychological well-being. A total of 72 students at the Maahad tahfiz participated in this study. The statistical analysis used in this research included descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation. The results showed that Tasmik and Takrar were the most frequently used strategies with the highest mean scores, while Kitabah was the least used strategy. Students perceived a high level of psychological well-being, especially in terms of personal growth. A statistically significant moderate relationship between the two variables was found at r = 0.64, p = 0.001. Thus, students must continuously improve their Qur’an memorization and be aware of their responsibilities as huffaz in order to maintain a positive psychological well-being.
