This study examines the “Morphological and Grammatical Orientation of ‘Asim’s Recitation through the Narration of Hafs and Syubah”, which is regarded as an important element in the mastery of Quranic readings. This study aims to describe the effects of Hafs’ and Syubah’s readings to the Quranic meanings. The researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical methodologies by examining multiple sources on the subject Quranic reading. The research also analysed the meanings of the Hafs’ and Syubah’s readings. The researcher analysed 36 morphological problems and 19 grammatical problems respectively. The study concluded that there are more morphological than grammatical orientations in the Hafs’ and Syubah’s readings. The research also discovered that the difference in morphology and grammar leads to multiplicity and expansion of meanings in the Arabic language. The Quranic readings definitely affect the lexical and contextual meanings of Quranic verses.
