    Qur`anic analysis of semitic language using historical-linguistic methodology for learning Arabic philology

    This research analyses the Qur´an about the stories of Semite people and remaining Semitic linguistic traces in the Qur´an and Arabic language, also compares with the some Arabic philology books. It aims to find out the outstanding of the research and apply for learning Arabic philology, especially in Semitic part. This research used Historical Linguistic Methodology to analyze the Qur´an. In historical part, the research examines the stories of Semite people were mentioned in the Qur´an referred the Qur´anic verses and attached the detail about sub-Semitic language to those stories. The most of them are well know as biographies of the prophets. In linguistic part, the research examined the traces of Semitic language in the Qur´an and Arabic language which are in writing script, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. To apply for learning, the research compared the analysed results with the selected Arabic philology books in the content of Semitic study. It could indicate that the research covered the main Semitic issues required to learn in Arabic philology which are: the theories about original land of Semite, the theories about primitive Semitic language, the details about each sub-Semite people, the details about each sub-Semitic language, the co-feature of the languages. That mean the research can use for learning in that area, in addition, through the biographies of the prophet, the research can be a recommended extra reading for general people who do not specialize in linguistic. The research also demonstrated the concept of Islamization of knowledge which refers the knowledge to the first and most important source of Islam which is the Holy Qur´an.
