This research aims to critically study the hadiths mentioned in the book of "The Tazkirah " by Imam al-Qurtubi by selecting 100 Hadiths that are not recorded in the Six Books (Qutubul sittah). The book discusses the principle which is related to the conditions of the dead, the bliss and torment of the grave, the day of resurrection, the blowing of the horn that marks the end of time, conditions of heaven and hell, signs indicating the end of the world and description of the world of the dead. However, it is noted that this book contains many weak and fabricated hadiths while some are taken from the stories by Israeliyah tribe. This requires the critical examination of the attribution of the narrators and their status as hadith chroniclers. This research hopes to help Muslims not to be misled from the truth and aqidah in their lives. It is also important because it reveals the personality of Imam al-Qurtubi, namely his character and preaching methodology.
