Dr. Hassan Abdullah al-Turabi is one of the most prominent intellectuals of the Islamic movement in the present era, and one of its most influential and controversial thinkers, and since al-Turabi was one of the most influential figures in the intellectual and media arena today, it is necessary to study his views in interpreting verses at the Quran on women. This study deals with the subject of "Interpretation of the verses on women by Dr. Hassan Abdullah al-Turabi: An analytical critical study." The researcher relied on two methods: the first is the inductive method where Dr. Hassan al-Turabi's statements on his interpretation of the verses on women from many sources were collected. The second approach is the critical analytical approach, and this was carried out by studying his ideas concerning his interpretation of verses on women concerning: Hijab, guardianship, women's imamate of men, women's testimony, marriage and scriptures from Muslim. The study also revealed his life and personality, and the factors that led to the writing of his interpretation. The study sheds light on the reactions of his opponents towards his interpretation of verses on women, revealing the weakness of the sources and the bases on which he relied his thought on. The study has several results: Tawhid is the general rule on which Turabi is based and interpreted, and the Sunnah as the main source of interpretation has been completely ignored. The research also shows that the monotheistic interpretation is classified in the modernist way of interpretation, as it was based on the abolition of the scholars' understanding of the Islamic texts. The study also shows that there is a deviation in its approach in interpreting the verses on women, such as seeking to decry women, and calling for absolute equality between men and women. The researcher then reveals the implications of these ideas.
