This study is conducted on the basis that the programme of teaching Arabic for nonnative speakers needs a content that is enhanced by pedagogical morphology. This will promote learner’s understanding of the morphological forms for better usage when practicing Arabic communicative skills. The researcher of the present study used a descriptive analytical method in order to display Arabic morphological forms as well as their level of frequency in usage. This method was also used for analysing and comparing these forms in term of their frequent usage in the Arabic textbooks of Malaysian government secondary schools. The target textbooks comprised of two series: the first one is Arabic Communicative Textbooks which consist of five books, each textbook for each year and the second series is High Arabic comprised of two books, for fourth and fifth year students. The selection of this sample is based on the objectives of learning Arabic language in Malaysia. Moreover the selected topics and learning situations are greatly suitable for Malaysian learning environment and culture as well. This study analysed ٤٥٠٤٦ words of standard morphological forms in the target textbooks. The researcher adopted educational method by suggesting the scientific gradual approach in presenting morphological content and reliance on the common morphological terms as a principle for these textbooks. The researcher also emphasised on other two measurements: morphological forms distribution and their liability to be taught and learnt. This leads the researcher to suggest systematic presentation of these morphological forms in each lesson. Finally, the study recommended techniques of development of pedagogical morphology content and a pattern of lesson followed by exercises with the aim of presenting suitable pedagogical morphology content in the programme of teaching Arabic for non- native speakers in Malaysia.
