The study aims at analyzing the biography of one of the remarkable scholars of which Islamic nation and will identify his approach in the interpretation of the Quran through narrations and opinions, besides his approach of Quranic science in his book “Al bustan Fi Ulum Al Quaan. The research adopted the descriptive approach to study Al Barzi’s personality and the analytical inductive approach to induce and analyze his method. The researcher concludes that Al barzi - may Allah have mercy on him - is one of the great scholars who has devoted thimselve to the service of knowledge and that he is one of the pioneer scholars in the science of punctuation. Based on the careful tracing of his narrations in his book, his honesty is visible in his reference to the narrations. Despite the many narrations enclosed in his book, his scientific approach still represents his benchmark. The author followed a unique approach in writing the book in which he integrated – while remaining consistent – the exegesis and the Qur’anic sciences. This exegesis – though contains interpretation based on opinion - is mostly based on Ma’thur. Al Barzi’s main objective of writing this book is to list and demonstrate Quranic sciences.
