Management of the Waqf is one of the important issues that many governments take care of throughout the Muslim world. The aim of this thesis is to study the status of the Waqf in the United Arab Emirates and to examine the policies and legislations adopted by the government and its impact on the Waqf boom. The researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical methods , and based on the hypothesis the more effective the Waqf management is the more the Waqf succeeded, The researcher identified the concept of Good Governance and effective management and its characteristics, and how to reflect this effectiveness in the management of waqf. viewing the case of the study which is the UAE, the study revealed the most important characteristics that featured the state in its management of the waqf. The study discussed the future vision of the Waqf mangement. The vision of the future and the quest of the state to be the capital of the Islamic economy in the region of the Islamic world and to prove its entitlement in this role which sought to determine the nature of the state of waqf institutions in the state.She pointed out that the state has implemented the system of excellence and the search for individuality and the race towards the first positions in all fields. It has set standards for institutional excellence and encouraged the innovators to present ideas which contribute to the development of Waqf management. The researcher concluded that UEA has a noticeable and excellent role in managing Waqf achieving its goals inside and outside the country, increasing Waqf assets, and enriching the Waqf work in the country. It is indeed a model for waqf management that has not stopped at this point,but continues to seek more development.
