The research aims to examine the subject of economic instrument and its role in the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) foreign policy implementation by discussing the subsequent themes. It attempts to identify the strength of the economic instrument and the extent of its capacity in achieving sustainability in the UAE relations with the countries of the world; to find out the most successful models of the economic instrument which succeeded to stabilize the UAE foreign policy; to prove the value of economic instrument and its dynamic role in consolidating and intensifying the UAE relations with the countries of the world; as well as to perceive its outcome related to help recipient states. Then, this research has recommended a number of solutions that might contribute in exploiting the role of the economic means to achieve the objectives of the foreign policy of the state, as this instrument is of utmost importance in the management of international relations between states. The researcher has adopted a set of scientific methodologies to examine the subject; through the descriptive approach, all the aspects of the subject needed to be studied described cautiously, to understand the reality of the phenomenon of the economic instrument in the UAE properly, as well as unfolded the fundamentals and the objectives of foreign policy of the state; through the analytical approach, the economic instrument is analyzed and its effects on the state demonstrated, as well as scrutinized the figures mentioned in the study; and through the historical approach, the importance of the historical factor and the historical dimensions that contributed to the formation of cooperative relations deliberated by reviewing the economic and political history of the United Arab Emirates and endeavored to link those political developments with the economic aspect; to elucidate the emergence and the stages of development of the economic instrument in the state. To recognize the role of economic instrument and its significance, the researcher has conducted few personal interviews with economists and politicians working in governmental and private institutions in the country. The study has concluded that the economic instrument in the implementation of foreign policy occupies a central role in small, rich countries such as the UAE, more than other instruments and this instrument can achieve stability and sustainability in the relations - the economic relation - of the state such as the UAE.
