This study aims to describe and analyze the image of the other in the Omani nomadic text in East Africa. The researcher has taken four travel texts: two from the voyages of the Omani Sultans of Zanzibar and others from the texts written by other Omani travellers in Zanzibar. The study reached several results, including clarifying the factors behind the emergence of travel literature: the establishment of the Royal Press, the establishment of newspapers in Zanzibar, and finally, the development of means of movement between countries. Two types of Omani trips have appeared in Zanzibar: official and personal trips. The study defined the concept of the other according to two types: the similar other, meaning the African other, and the Arab one. And the second type is the foreign other. The study analyzed the spatial environment, the population, and the historical places of the other by highlighting their urban and industrial renaissance. The study also described the other's religious and cultural scenes, customs, and traditions and the wonders and oddities employed in the travel texts. Finally, the study showed the verbal richness of the lexical used in Omani nomadic texts in East Africa.
