The research focuses on selected ahadith regarding the methodology of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in social reform. Accordingly, the researcher divided the study into four chapters, using the inductive and analytical methods in conducting his study, by choosing the relevant ahadith. At the beginning, the researcher discusses the definition of the topic`s components which are “Method” “Reform” and “Society”. Moreover, the researcher examines the manifestations of the prophetic reform. Furthermore, the researcher examines the means of achieving the well-being of the Ummah in light of the Sunnah. For the apprehension of disposition of the people, examples of the Prophet`s reform are included. In addition, the research comprises the issues of Usrah (family) and its significance in Islam. Accordingly, the researcher elaborates on some related issues concerning the matter. Finally, the researcher concludes his study by mentioning the findings as well as the recommendations. The basis of the Prophet`s reform are very clear from which we can benefit in transforming our contemporary societies. Also the researcher found that the Prophet’s methods focused on changing people individually and collectively; from a single person to the society as a whole, including leaders. The Prophet (SAW) did not start his process of reformation from the leaders` level, but he paid more attention to teaching ordinary people. With this, our move to reform our society must be based on that if we wish to achieve our purpose in transforming nations.
