The researcher used the inductive and analytical method to extract the views of Imam Sa’id al-Nursi in his interpretation and identify his methodology. The study discovers that there are similarities between Imam Sa’id al-Nursi’s interpretation method with slight differences as compared to other scholars of exegesis (mufassir). Imam Sa’id al-Nursi focused on the methodology of interpretation of al-Ra’yi al-Haqiqy. However, he also explained the verses of the Qur'an by Qur'an, the Qur'an by Sunnah, and also illustrated the meaning by quoting the words of scholars and Arabic poetry. One of the most prominent approaches of Imam Sa’id al-Nursi is he interpreted the verses by tales and providing examples. In this context, the research will aim to highlight the concept of tawhīd through the Sa’id al-Nursi in his book, the Messages of Light (Rasa’il Al-Nur), and to reveal its method in his interpretation of the verses of tawhid, as he has expertise in field of tawhid, therefore, his expertise as a characteristic in his interpretation. The study concludes that Sa’id al-Nursi’s interpret the verses of tawhid by mention others verses and some of hadīst and also explain the verses by arabic poetry, and Sa’id al-Nursi illustrate the meaning by tales and providing examples. Sa’id al-Nursi’s Concept of tawhid does not contradict with the tawhid concept among the Sunni scholars.
