This study attempts to analyze the difficulties that LINUS pupils in primary school faced in answering mathematical constructs. The data for this research were collected by analyzing the problems that hinder Year 3 pupils (1 boy and 1 girl) from answering the mathematical problems. The findings indicated that both respondents had the same problem in terms of understanding the question given. They failed to apply the mathematical formulas learnt to the question.
