The research community consisted of workers in the Directorate of Labor in the Governorate of Dhofar in the Sultanate of Oman (985), and The researcher chose a stratified sample of (132) a questionnaire based on the research sample and the adoption of (130) questionnaires, and The study followed the descriptive analytical approach. This study has reached the height and the correlations and the field of continuous work at work. There is a significant statistical impact over the use of this type of social media on the development of information technology workers at work in the Governorate of Dhofar. And The lack of a statistically significant effect of the use of modern social media by employees of the Ministry of Labor in the development of information technology and the variables (gender - age - job level - educational qualification - years of experience). The study recommended the following: Continuously establishing concerns about these means and their role in the development of job performance, conducting awareness sessions for workers in the Ministry of Labor about the importance of the means of communication and clarifying its positive and negative aspects, and educating them about the use of social media in exchanging information among them and benefiting from it as much as possible within the framework of Skills Development.arMaster Thesishttp://studentrepo.iium.edu.my/handle/123456789/11762
