It also aims to understand student perspectives on the use of Collaborative Strategic Reading and its relationship to composition writing skills. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a single-group pretest-posttest design, as well as a quantitative approach to analyze the survey. The sample for this study consisted of 25 students from the fourth year of high school at Sekolah Agama Menengah Sungai Merab Luar. After collecting and analyzing data using SPSS, the research concluded that there was an increase in the mean score of the sample between the pre-test (25) and the post-test (39). This difference is statistically significant, which indicates that Collaborative Strategic Reading has an effective effect on the development of composition writing skills. The study also found that students have positive attitudes towards the use of this strategy, in terms of interest, motivation, increased vocabulary, and the strategy's contribution to the development of skills such as selecting appropriate ideas and using Arabic style.arCopyright International Islamic University Malaysia.Collaborative Strategic Reading;Arabic;Composition WritingArabic language -- Composition and exercises -- Study and teaching (Secondary) -- MalaysiaArabic language -- RhetoricArabic language -- Writing -- Study and teaching -- Malaysiaفاعلية القراءة الاستراتيجية التشاركية في تنمية مهارة الكتابة الإنشائية لدى طلبة المعهد الديني الثانوي سوڠاي مراب لوارMaster ThesesFa'iliyah al-qira'ah al-istiratijiyah al-tasharukiyyah fi tanmiyah maharah al-kitabah al-insha'iyyah laday talabah al-Ma'had al-Dini al-Thanawi Sungai Merab Luar
