Abstract
The study aims to shed light on the importance of preparing a proposed curriculum for teaching Arabic language to students of Shari’ah Law in Malaysia and the importance of understanding Islamic law terminology and structures in Arabic. The researcher identified the important areas in designing language curriculum and to enhance reading skills for law students of Islamic International University Malaysia. The study conducted descriptive and analytical study to identify the needs of the students. The researcher analyzed the responses of samples by (SPSS). This study emphasized the importance of the urgent need for students of law to understand the legal sources in Arabic. A new and effective curriculum is necessary to help create students who could process authentic jurisprudence sources in Arabic rather than merely relying on insufficient modern or English Étranslations the proposed new curriculum could potentially able to help students master Arabic terminologies within less than year.
