Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate how to apply the origin of consideration of the outcomes of actions on the Muslim minority in Sri Lanka that suffers from problems in order to adhere to its religion in selected issues related to devotional rituals, family, customs, habits, and economics, based on the inductive, descriptive and analytical approaches in the field study. The study revealed that the Muslim minority in Sri Lanka has personal, circumstantial, realistic, or customary characteristics that prevent the fulfilment of the purposes of some rulings for which it was legislated. The study was subjected to an explanation of the origin of the examination of the facts, its relationship with the objectives of Shariah, and its role in the jurisprudence of Muslim minorities, especially in the jurisprudence of the Muslim minority in Sri Lanka. The study was able to research sixteen selected issues in the light of the objectives of Shariah, and to present its views on these issues, as well as to prove that the consideration of the consequences enables the Muslim minority in Sri Lanka to save young people from extremist trends, remove them from the automatic application of texts, reduce internal differences, prove the validity of this religion at any time and place, and to present a bright image of Islam and its laws to non-Muslims.
