Abstract

The research aims to shed light on the approach of safety from public strife in light of the Sunnah, by identifying what is meant by public strife and ways to escape from it. The researcher employed two approaches: inductive in order to collect hadiths and follow the sayings of scholars in explaining the approach to safety from public strife, and the analytical method in order to analyze the studied materials. The study concluded that public strife causes the looting and vandalism, separation of the nation, difference of ranks, distance from religion and permissibility of blood. While among the causes of temptation is love of the world and following whims and ignorance of the truth of religion. The approach to safety from temptations is represented in the preventive and fortifying approach, by resorting to God and holding a sit-in, seeking refuge with Him from temptations, retiring from temptations and their people, and moving away from their places. As the ethical approach to safety from temptation is to slow down, be gentle, dream, patience, patience, show justice and fairness, protect the tongue from slander and stop the hand from blood. The economic approach to safety from temptations is based on achieving the principle of self-sufficiency, urging work and lawful earnings, and cooperation and altruism among people in a time of temptation, while the approach of initiative to obedience has a great impact on a Muslim’s life in safety from temptations. The study recommended sound awareness of the people about the issue of sedition and its dangers to nations and peoples, and proposes a deep research into the prophetic texts to devise methods of safety from the various temptations that have spread in the contemporary reality of the nation.
