Abstract
Modern day history is blindfolded to geopolitical factors and historical events that played a major role in the establishment of current United Arab Emirates (UAE) during pre-union era that spanned the eighteenth century all the way to the twentieth century of the previous millennium. Such factors and historical events managed to influence and shape psychological mindset of Arab tribes populating the area and the peaceful cost into ever needed political awareness, and had the greatest positive effect of adopting the very ideology of cohabitating together under one ‘union ‘for nothing but to defend oneself and protect the land against the existential threats imposed by enemies of land. Both internal neighboring enemies and external ones belonging to foreign political establishments. The aim of this detailed historical research it to shed the light on and unveil that marginalized, forgotten and ignored the pre- union era that laid psycho- social building blocks that led to the establishment of current United Arab Emirates (UAE). Almost two centuries of rich history, battles, conflicts, and truces were shelved aside. And the author aims through detailed descriptive analysis of those events using nothing but certified documents, political resources and narratives to undrstand the truth to take us back to the very core of UAE’s history. It concludes that establishment of UAE was not impulsive without foreign pre-agenda and it was not dictated by the British Occupation before their agreed-upon peaceful departure. If anything, it is deeply rooted in 200 years of history that is being unveiled here.
