Abstract
This study mainly attempted to investigate the effect of motivational factors on technology acceptance among secondary school teachers based on TAM in Saudi Arabia including eight sub questions. The sample for this study consisted of secondary school teachers who are currently using technology smart classrooms in Saudi Arabia. By using a cross-sectional survey method and simple random sampling technique, data from 217 respondents in the 90 secondary schools were analysed to answer the questions of the study. A causal model was proposed and tested with Structural Equation Modeling. Results showed that the modified TAM model confirmed a good fit for the data collected. For theoretical implications, this is among the fewest studies that integrate motivational factors in the field of education to TAM variables. For practical implications, the results from this study provide practitioners of teaching career with the guidelines that encourage technology usage within their classes more effectively.
